Dr. Tvrdik graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1989. She completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Dr. Tvrdik was a clinic instructor at Creighton University Dental School. She has completed advanced training in the Dawson program of occlusion.
